The products manufactured are mid-market blinds, curtains and accessories. The materials used are excellent quality and are supplied at competitive prices. Safety has become a major issue within the industry and the company have been quick to acknowledge the importance of supplying non-flamable materials and approved safety cords for use in their blinds

Expansion Potential
The company is on a sound footing with consistent turnover and profit results. However for the company to progress onto the next level it needs to expand over the next couple of years.

Currently the work premises are starting to be stretched because they need extra work space to be able to manufacture their own vertical blinds. At present 80% of the vertical blinds produced are contracted out, thus losing on profit margin.

A two year contract to supply the local council is in place, and other councils nearby have bought product from the business in the past. There are also two, three year maintenance contracts with local colleges were the company repair and replace faulty and tired blinds and curtains.With more time, or a dedicated sales person ,these types of accounts could be grown.

The business is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays, but other businesses in the retail park are starting to open up during these times to attract extra customers.

A new owner with fresh ideas and enthusiasm could build upon the solid foundations already in place and take the business forward to its next level.

Both manufacture and increased contracts would require expanding the premises and a shortage of capital, at present, is restricting the growth of the company.
