BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
Supply, Installation, Maintenance & After Sales Support of Energy from Waste Power Plants
Exclusive UK, ROI & Channel Islands rights to all implementations
Ref. CT044
Location : Nationwide
Asking Price : GBP 200,000

This business was established in the UK for the purposes of expanding the wider business activities of a very well known and internationally reknowned owner and developer of specialised technologies for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, maintenance and after sales support of what are known as energy from waste power plants.

In this instance, the power plants relate to the conversion of various waste products into electrical and/or thermal energy and are available in a range of sizes, from 250 kWh to over 5,000 kWh electrical output through a modular system design.

These power plants are capable of generating sufficient power for users with on site waste and/or high energy consumption. Revenue streams can be achieved from: government subsidies, export of surplus electric through a power purchase agreement; and sale of bi product char/ash. Overhead savings can be achieved through: reduced energy consumption costs; and disposal of on site waste.

Each system can be specified and designed to a clients bespoke requirements to extract the best return on investment available.

The IPR holder in India is constantly innovating its technologies and in 2018 launched the MSW range which coverts Municipal solid waste to energy. Historically the UK market focused on wood waste and chicken manure but these innovations open up further market opportunities.

This of course represents a huge opportunity for this business as part of a more general trend for renewable power generation solutions following the down turn of Solar PV and Wind Turbine installations.

Expansion Potential
The vendor believes that an opportunity to grow by investment in resources and in sales & marketing activity and also believes that this business would be a perfect platform from which to grow by other acquisitions within the sector. This is a great ‘bolt on’ to any renewable energy company who previosuly focussed on Solar PV, Wind, LED, Battery Storage, etc.

Market / Competition / Non-Competition Agreements
The company has a UK domain which can be utilised for the development of a website specific to this marketplace. Currently the IPR holder operates a global marketing strategy.
