The Business Partnership is pleased to have been appointed as sole selling agent in order to seek a purchaser for this very well established Motor Component Distributor, which has only been made available for sale due to the owner wishing to retire.

The owner, who commenced trading in 1985 and incorporated some 3 years later, still controls the day to day running of this very well positioned distribution business, which sees approximately 34% of turnover via exports outside the UK & Channel Islands.

Average sales for the last 3 years is recorded as being £1.231M, with sales for the year ending 28 February 2011 being £1.223M., which produced a gross margin of £485k after purchases and carriage and customs clearances.

Components are sourced from Europe, USA, the Far East and of course the UK, with many components being repackaged and supplied into the after-market to a discerning and loyal customer base, comprising of both small owner-run businesses to larger private limited companies.

The business is completely relocatable to anywhere in the UK, allowing for the necessary TUPE considerations, which could see considerable saving in regard to rent currently paid to the owner.
